"Dear Arin, I was overjoyed when i finally discovered some news from you two in my inbox yesterday. I had given up after months and months of checking my podcast subscrition HOPING. I wanted to state the obvious for Arin which might not be obvious to Arin since Susan was the first lady love ever in his life. It's a little advice on how the woman in your life wants to be treated. I noticed that you tend to go on and on about how you want Susan to be dediated to "YOUR MISSION". Didn't you realize she was? So devoted. The thing is even worker bees need a break. It seems the main stress in this relationship was financial and things just spiraled out of control from there aside from any emerging issues of Susan discovering herself more and wanting quite simply to be treated as an adored female by the man in her life. To be seen as a traitor of some kind when you just need a break and want a bit of social life is coming from a , dare I say it, immature perspective. You are , after all, ... "

"First, the intro to the movies where Arin is describing how he views couples, and i'm assuming how the movie gets its name is really quite brilliant. That slight sickness you get from watching a couple have at eachother is perfectly summed up by his minispeech. It may be the best part of the movie. The whole movie is wonderful. I felt as though I was peeking in at other people's personal life in an intimate way that most movies can't achieve. To be honest I felt like a peeping tom in a neighbor's window and as awkward as I felt I couldn't stop laughing with giddy enthusiasm. Just as the intro describes, you kinda feel like vomitting but you're jealous all the same and even during quarrels I couldn't help but envy the two main (really only) characters. I almost forgot I was watching a movie, a sensation that had escaped me since some time in my early teens. Anyway, delightful. "

"Arin and Susan: thanks for sharing this movie. I found it quite randomly, but I am a very passionate fan of DIY art in all forms and I was stoked to find an indie film. The cinematography and editing were excellent all throughout your film. I love your use of animation and that's something that usually throws me out of a story. I enjoyed watching Susan's artistic struggle and found both characters very authentic, although I do wonder what a woman would really think who received an email with all that evidence of someone stalking her. a lot of women would trip out big time I bet!I loved the opening montage and I laughed aloud at the "trash and crap" montage. I also laughed when I heard the subject line above! I hope you don't let your vision become compromised by your credit card debt. sorry i signed up for this site too late to get you the buck! thanks again so much for sharing, from over in cascadia.... "

"The movie is a provacative exploration of one of our society's lost arts. The Art of Conversation. I notice that people who watch TV have adopted TV-ism info-mercial schematics into their dialogues. The state of the state of conversation in our culture is canned audio frequencies that are bounced back and forth. The art of listening and responding to anothers feelings, and thoughts is put under a microscope and dissected by this film. The artists put upon themselves a rule to express to one another, and reveal to one another who they are by any means besides " talking out loud" I think this film may inspire others to give this platform a try. "

"I've never seen such a movie that makes one look inside themselves, while looking also at those that surround them. It's a totally different perspective on love, and relationships in general. Love through the expression of art is something that completely epitomizes today's nation, the art isn't always drawing, film making, or music. Art consists of all aspects of life, politics can be conisdered an art, love-making an masterpiece... "

"When I first wrote about A Complete History of My Sexual Failures, based solely on the film’s Sundance catalog synopsis, I pegged it as “like Sherman???s March, but British, and 1/3 as long, and seemingly not at all concerned with vague parallels to 19th century history!” Having seen the film with an extremely enthusiastic press corps, I can confirm that Chris Waitt’s debut feature *is* a little like Sherman’s March, but the ancestral lineage of this undeniable crowd-pleaser is more complicated than I could have guessed. At its best, this heavily constructed slice of auto-videography is a lot like a Nick Broomfield remake of Four Eyed Monsters, except with a budget for car commercial cast-off source cues and an extremely problematic relationship with the kind of fearles "
