""Jesse" (Ashton Kutcher) and "Chester" (Seann William Scott) wake up after a night of partying so hard they don't remember anything. They can't even remember where "Jesse" put his car.Eventually, they discover that their adventures including taking a large sum of money from a transvestite stripper and trying to find extra-terrestrial technology. All the while, trying to get their twin girlfriends (Jennifer Garner, Marla Sokoloff) anniversary presents.Let me say first that this is a really stupid, predictable movie. However, there are a lot of chuckle-worthy gags throughout the movie.About 99% of the jokes, sight gags and oral, is completely predictable. They were mostly horribly set-up to the point that you see the joke coming seconds before it happens. The other 1% only produced a fairly good chuckle.Character development, for the most part, is poor. All the characters are one-dimensional. However, the development of "Jesse" and "Chester" were uniquely laid out as we get to learn ... "

[What do you think?]
"In the grand tradition of Dude, Where's My Car? this film has garnered a place on the list of movies that must be viewed when one is on one or more mind-altering substances. Honestly, the whole time I kept telling myself that if I smoked pot or was drunk The Pineapple Express would be the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. "

"in my opinion, this is one of the greatest movies ever. the humor is so cheesey, but that's what makes the movie. the stupid bickering, and pointless conversation makes this one of those 'i started watching this, and now i can't stop' movies. if you don't understand the movie, watch it again. then you know what happens and you can put it together. "I hated this film at first. Seriously. I thought it was so dumb, to the point where I thought it was trying to be dumb, and so I scoffed and looked away. Then, some time later, I watched it again, with friends this time, and I saw for the first time the true genius that is Seann William Scott. This film is comic perfection, as quotable as Napoleon Dynamite, except nobody ever quotes it so it's not nearly as annoying. My favorite conversation is 'Hey look, a barn!' 'Is it red?' 'No.' 'Then it's not a barn!' Right, I know, not that funny in writing, but in the context of the movies, as with most quotes, it is hilarious. Don't be lame - don't listen to those who are too cool for this movie, as I once was. Embrace it, and just laugh. "
