"DAMNED IN VENICE Directed by Ugo Liberatore in 1978 and starring Renato Cestie, Rena Niehaus, Lorraine De Selle and Olga Karlatos. Mark is a young blind boy who is looked after by his embittered sister and also suffers from gruesome visions of an ominous man dressed in black. When the mysterious stranger steps out of Mark’s nightmares into reality, and his sister becomes unexpectedly pregnant, Mark is convinced that demonic forces are at work and that the birth of the antichrist may be at hand! This Italian merging of themes from The Omen and Rosemary’s Baby is a tense and atmospheric excursion into evil featuring a shocking climax that will not soon be forgotten!
