Most American kids will encounter or play with a Barbie doll at some point in their young lives. If they're girls, they'll probably receive one or more Barbie dolls for gifts. This film examines why this doll continues to influence how young girls think about their bodies, and why so many adults spend excessive amounts of time and money collecting these dolls.
