Winner of the Columbus Film Festival's Chris Bronze Award, this documentary by Cindy Marshall profiles folklorist Dr. Ruth Rubin, who dedicated her life to preserving Yiddish folk songs. These songs were used in courting, to make laboring less of a chore, and to resist oppression.
