Synopsis
This mediocre comedy-drama starred
Herbert Rawlinson
as an impoverished nobleman turned pugilist. Lord Waring (
Frank Currier
) is broke so he sends his son Cecil (Rawlinson) to America to marry a girl from a wealthy family. Cecil is less than thrilled with the situation, especially after meeting Teddy Walters (Dorothy Manner), a chorus girl whose finances are even more precarious than his own. Cecil finds work as a waiter in a fancy restaurant, where he gets in an argument with one of the patrons and knocks him out cold. It turns out the patron is Porky Schaup, a well-known prizefighter (
Eddie Gribbon
). This display of talent impresses a former fight promoter, who decides to manage him. Cecil learns the ins and outs of prizefighting and eventually wins the middleweight championship. He also wins Teddy as a wife. ~ Janiss Garza, All Movie Guide
