This farce comedy was the last feature from the popular comedy team of
Eddie Lyons and
Lee Moran. It's a remake of the 1918 film
All Night, which featured a newcomer by the name of
Rudolph Valentino. William Harcourt (Moran) is forced to fire his servants just before his friend, Richard Thayer (Lyons), and his sweetheart, Bessie Land (Alta Allen), arrive for dinner. Harcourt and his wife, Maude (
Lillian Hall), are just about to take their friends out to dinner when they receive a message that Harcourt's millionaire client, Bill Bradford (
Lionel Belmore), is coming to dinner. Hartcourt decides that since he and Maude know their home so well, they should pretend to be the servants while Thayer and Bessie pretend to be the Harcourts. The evening goes well -- and then Bradford insists on escorting the fake Harcourts to bed. This causes a number of complications, including the arrival of Bessie's father (
Clark Comstock), who Bradford assumes is a lunatic. Eventually the servants return and everything is explained. ~ Janiss Garza, All Movie Guide
