It's a decent teen-love film, I guess. Julia Stiles gets her start here, but this is one of Larisa Oleynik's last (well-known) films. Alex Mack, bro. Alex Mack.

My wife bought this film. It twists the "true story" pretty far...and to this day I'm angry that there's not an alternate ending where his delusions turn out to be true. That would've been way cooler.

The writing for this film is absurdly good. The narrator's lines are so full of well-written hyperbole, it will make your sides hurt from laughter. It's a classic in my house.

Korean horror film based on some folk legend that I've never heard? Sounds good to me! It's the atmosphere of the film that will keep you watching. I recommend this one to just about anyone.

The first time I saw this film I hated it, because I hate Hugh Grant. But then I realized, that's the point. You're supposed to think very little of this shallow 30-something male. Well-written, good humor, and excellent soundtrack = winner.

A friend of mine, whom I consider a film guru, really wanted me to see this film. It's a very interesting idea, and it does a great job at attacking the Hollywood industry in a clever, indirect way. But I didn't enjoy it all that much.

Fraser, Buschemi, Sandler ... in roles that do not fit them at all. I like the premise: hold a radio station hostage. People should do that in real life more often. ... did I say that?

A lot of people (my father included) think Al Gore is some liberal-agenda wacko. Whether he is or not, I don't think that this film has all that much "spin" to it. There are trends and patterns whose conclusions ought not be ignored, right?

Classic, and *not* Disney ... and Don Bluth? ROFL. The songs are what keep me coming back for more. Life is a road and I wanna keep going.

Most quotable comedy ever. You could probably list over 100 lines that EVERYONE recognizes to be from this film. Pure genius.

I didn't know what bulimia was til I saw this film. Even though I wasn't as fat as Angus, I was as anti-social at the time, and I had a crush on a girl that looked like the heroine of this film. Good "coming-of-age" film for me as a youngster.

Woody Allen's alright, but Diane Keaton is AMAZING. Truly a classic, right? Everyone likes this film, right?

My wife loves this film, so I guess I love it by default. It was our first Valentine's date together ... in German, at an Imax theater in Wurms. Pretty rad.

I'd like to show this film for my World Religions course. Jewish Mysticism, throw in some Hari Krishna, and top it off with a cute girl that can spell words as though it were some divine gift. Oh, and all the actors are awesome. Even Richard Gere, who some may consider over-rated.

I hate this film. I especially dislike Angelina Jolie. Let's justify affairs through having to experience the suffering of the 3rd world. Puh-lease. Senseless death at the end sucks too. I only own it because my wife had it when we got married. I'd like to get rid of it.

It put Sandler on the map. Even if we're all quite tired of his formulaic "eccentric character" films, this one started it. It's the original, and it's great. Also, quite quotable.

It has a song by Plumb in it. That's a plus! The plot is so...mundane. So "meh." The ending's got a cool "Christian-ish" salvation thing going, I guess. Except we never know whether or not Claire Danes is guilty. Laaame.

This one wins for sheer nostalgia factor. In 7th grade some of my best friends and I watched this film over a dozen times. It was one of our first DVDs owned, so we also watched it in French and with commentary. Best teen movie ever.

This is one of my favorite Miyazaki films, if not *the* favorite. Though Miyazaki may have borrowed material for Laputa from Jonathan Swift (who, in turn, borrowed from ancient lore), the Japanese media-makers (film, anime, videogames), have copied Miyazaki's artistic designs of this floating castle for decades.

I like it because I want lots of kids too. Maybe not twelve...and I hope they're nothing like those kids. I also don't want to be a football coach. Why do I like this movie again? I dunno, I just think it's great.
