Writer/ Director Rod Webber plays the troubled loser ex-boyfriend of Irina, who he is determined to win back by taking her on a road-trip to an expensive spa in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Things get sidetracked when an old family friend decides to tag along for the ride.
The film examines love and relationships in a manner which is impossible to capture through traditional Hollywood-style film-making. There are no tricks, no second takes, just real people pouring their hearts out on screen.
The cast is made up of real-life family members and romantic relations, and shot documentary-style, in one take over a three day period. The soundtrack is comprised mainly of stripped-down acoustic pieces performed live by cast members.
