The sensitive and effeminate Hazumu loves growing and caring for flowers and herbs, so when his heart is broken by the girl he adores, he goes off into the hills surrounding his town, hoping to feel better. Unfortunately, this puts Hazumu in the wrong place at the wrong time, and an alien space ship crashes into him and kills him. The alien visitor, very sorry for accidentally killing an earthling, uses his superior technology to bring the lad back to life, but with just one change: now he's a she! This puts quite a strain on Hazumu's relationships. Her best friend Asuta is suddenly attracted to her, and her female friend Tomari, who was once smitten with Hazumu, is now understandably confused.
