Even if you already saw it at a preview screening last night/this morning, you’re probably geeky enough to be planning on seeing it again before Monday morning comes along. After all, Warner Bros. has dispersed a record amount of prints to a record amount of screens and the pundits are predicting a record box office gross for the weekend (never mind the fact that fellow new releases Mamma Mia! and Space Chimps and other still-strong blo " [More]

"1:53 - PUSH Q&A Question #1: The first question is: “Do those screams affects the psychics? We saw them killing the fish, but does it have any effect on people with powers?” Paul McGuigan explained that it’s just an ability that interferes with hearing, and throws people off. Although not quite the level of Twilight nuts that we witnessed earlier. Here’s a clip that Silver tells us is “Just for Comic-Con, so lets not talk about it to anyone else.” “Raised to be a warrior…Trained " [More]

"Warner Bros.’ surprise decision last week to move Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from November to next July caused quite a stir. Fans were upset. Entertainment Weekly was embarrassed. The only people not bothered seemed to be the Twilight crowd, who benefited in the release date jumble when their anticipated adaptation moved up its opening to fill the vacancy. But why did the studio suddenly push back its major fall tent pole? Especially after receiving such favorable buzz surrounding i " [More]

"I knew from the recent Hollywood Reporter feature on Twilight that Summit Entertainment planned to release a new trailer more geared toward a male audience, but I never would have guessed they’d do such a damn good job of it. I’ve been hating on this movie from the beginning, but now part of me is actually thinking I’d like to see it. And I bet a lot of teenage boys will be thinking the same, only more so. This is pure genius marketing, and it would have been in Summit’s favor to have gone thi " [More]
