Directed by Shane O'Sullivan.
For years, millions have speculated and countless tomes have been published that attempt to make sense of the enigmatic details surrounding the late-1963 assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The Warren Commission aside, many now believe that the events of that terrible day were in some way linked to a sweeping underground conspiracy. Now, with his documentary RFK Must Die: The Assassination of Bobby Kennedy, historical researcher and filmmaker Shane O'Sullivan makes a similar case regarding the shooting death of Robert F. Kennedy at the hands of crazed assassin Sirhan Sirhan at the Ambassador Hotel in June of 1968. Despite repeated implorations in Sirhan's notebooks which demanded the death of RFK, several unanswered questions linger regarding that day -- such as the reasons behind Kennedy's forced relocation to a different site at the hotel, the identity of a mysterious young woman spotted fleeing from the hotel and shouting, "We shot him!," the fact that some involved bullets were never submitted as evidence, and the motivation for a CIA presence at the Ambassador. Via archival footage and probing interviews, O'Sullivan uses his documentary to begin to sort out this mystery. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
