"Wow! I just finished watching a preview copy of the new suspense/drama Cover by director Bill Duke and it was great. The film seemed like it was going to have a routine, predictable, storyline but it DOESN’T. In the middle of the movie there is such a powerful twist that the viewer is left dazed. The film had a limited theatrical release (2 weeks in 28 theaters) and I wonder why it did not stay in theaters longer. Without revealing too much of the story as to cause spoilers…a family relocates from Atlanta to a wealth community of Philadelphia. The family quickly settles into life in their new city. The loving wife becomes the prime suspect in a New Year’s Eve shooting. Is she or isn’t she the killer? That question is answered in this shocking murder mystery. Aunjanue Ellis (Brother to Brother) delivers a powerful performance as Valerie Maas the accused killer. Razaaq Adoti (Black Hawk Down, Doom, Resident Evil Apocalypse) does an astonishing jo ... "
