Yoni Brook's documentary short A Son's Sacrifice concerns Imran, an American Muslim poised to take over his father's business - a Queens-based halal slaughterhouse. As a young man of mixed ethnicity, Imran must affirm his own racial identity and struggle to be accepted by his father's immigrant customers.
