Synopsis
The documentary filmmakers at ESPN pay tribute to the football team that perished in a tragic 1970 airplane crash by speaking with the coaches, players, and relatives who were fortunate enough not to have been on that ill-fated flight. In addition to discussing how the community rallied to get past their grief and begin the healing process, this program also explores how the Marshall Thundering Herd eventually became one of the top-scoring college teams of the 1990s. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
