"Remember the old saying from T2 that Sara Conner passed on to John? This is a feature film all about it. Even if events are altered, is the overall course of history pre-determined? The premise probably looked great in a script, but Mennan Yapo couldn't get over the atmosphere hurdle. For a drama like this, you need some distinct atmoshpere -- for example, some hints that the alternate realities are being explored. Premonition wasn't a complete disaster, it just lacked the artistic umph to make it really likeable.Rent it only if other flicks are out of stock at the woefully stocked Blockbuster. "

"This movie was okay. Although it didn't make much sense at all. The fact that it kept flipping back and forth from her husband being dead 1 day and alive the next was weird. It was hard to understand the whole concept of why and when she had the premonition. In the end it became clear that there is no way possible to change fate. "

"How can you tell a fantasy story in a realistic way? I can't quite figure it out yet, but that's what this movie is all about. The story is simple, presentation is simple, conclusion is simple - and I just wonder what was the point! Was the message that strange things can happen and you simply have to live with that? Not a bad message to tell, but there's something more in this movie that I just can't get hold of... "

"It would seem that Sandra Bullock is going on a mystery curve. First the Lake House last year, and now Premonition. The movie has a good plot to it. If your a teenager and you want to bring a girl to the movies to make her cry this will probably do it. If your an adult then you probably want to hope for something else, maybe the dinner before or something. I won't go into details if you haven't seen the movie, but it follows a day to day to past day to future day life of a women in search of what to live for. THECTSPOT - gives it a 3 out of 5 "
