Directed by Niall Johnson.
Niall Johnson's comedy Keeping Mum concerns the family of a vicar who are beset by a variety of problems. Reverend Walter Goodfellow (Rowan Atkinson) is a well-meaning but hapless religious figure in his town. His son, Petey, is a wimp, forever terrorized at school. His daughter, Holly, enjoys the company of a variety of different boyfriends. Wife Gloria (Kristin Scott Thomas) has had enough of her husband and is considering leaving him for a golf teacher (Patrick Swayze). The family starts to come back together after hiring housekeeper Grace (Maggie Smith), a woman who knows a thing or two about keeping secrets. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide

"I didn't see the Shia LaBeouf-in-a-suburb remake of Rear Window, it's called disturbia, but I thought that was an interesting twist. No one's going to believe a sixteen-year-old delinquent on house arrest. " [More]

The 'Burbs - Suburban gossip mongers believe their new neighbors are serial killers. Cameo by Corey Feldman makes this a winner. 4.) Mr. Brooks - Respected community man moonlights as a psychopath. Yay. 5.) Freeway - Keifer Sutherland escapes the monotony of his suburban life and perfect wife (played amazingly by Brooke Shields) by crusing the freeway for nubile young girls to terrorize. Finding out what's in the man's shed is more than reason enough to watch the film. 6.) Arsenic and Old Lace - Two of the swe ... " [More]

"Made in Britain, starring Reservoir Dog's Tim Roth, is a real British-made classic! It follows Trevor, a young juvenile offender, who is warned by everyone around him that if he doesn't start obiding the law, he will end up in prison. There is violence, swearing, and racism in this drama set in the punk rock era. " [More]
