Synopsis
Of all the actors who've played Raymond Chandler's hard-boiled private Philip Marlowe over the years, Humphrey Bogart, Dick Powell and Powers Boothe have been the hands-down audience favorites. Boothe came in late in the game, essaying the role in the five-part 1983 HBO miniseries Philip Marlowe: Private Eye.
