"This series was made for comic book geeks like me. I'll admit... it would take someone like, oh, Joel Schumacher to really screw up this franchise. It builds on the solid foundation of DC Comics, but sets a nice pace through each season without rushing in decades-old material. There are a couple of poor episodes. Actually, one is just horrible (Thirst). So bad that the writers actually laid down a commentary track talking about what they wante "
