It is very likely that hard-core Creationists will not be politely inclined towards The Missing Link. This unique, thoroughly credible "historical drama" stars David Hughes (husband of director Carol Hughes) as an ancient man-ape, living in what would later be called Africa. After his people are killed off by the more highly evolved humans, Hughes sets out on a grueling trek across the African plain. En route, he encounters numerous examples of species that have long since become extinct (is there a subliminal pro-eco message lurking about here?) Star Hughes' "missing link" makeup is convincingly rendered by Oscar-winner
