Directed by Bryan Papciak, this ten-minute film provides a startling montage of footage from inside of an abandoned insane asylum. "I saw this at Sundance 2003. It may be available online in the Sundance digital festival archives or at http://www.handcrankedfilm.com /. The guys who made this film are a strange hybrid of photographer, animator, filmmaker and the images in Met State are unforgettable. I'm anxious to see completion of their project, American Ruins, which looks like it's been in production for some years now. " [More]
