John de Lancie returns as the mercurial life force Q, this time with his troublesome son Q2 (played by de Lancie's real-life son, Keegan de Lancie) in tow. Having gone from infant to adolescent in only four years, Q2's personality hasn't quite matured to the level of his physiology, and before long he all but wrecks the Voyager with his destructive pranks. Kate Mulgrew) dismay, Q leaves his son behind on Voyager, hoping that the crew will be able to straighten the boy out. "
