Synopsis
This is the second in a five-part series that chronicles the construction of the Boeing 777. The plane took five years to build, and utilized the skills of over 10,000 workers to produce this giant of aeronautical design. This segment focuses on the implementation of the design into concrete terms. This was a monumental undertaking, with four million parts going into building the plane.
