"While not the best film ever producer, The Holcroft Covenant is at least enjoyable to watch thanks to the always affable Michael Caine. The suspense nicely grows throughout the film, but the ending leaves a little to be desired. My biggest gripe is the no-chemistry romance between Caine and Victoria Tennant, and the cheesy love making scene, but apart from that, the action is adroitly handled by seasoned director John Frankenheimer. Worth at least one watch, especially if you're a fan of Caine or Frankenheimer. " [More]
