Synopsis
With the exception of apple pie, no food is more American than the hamburger. This documentary chronicles the history of the hamburger, which launched fast-food chain fortunes and changed the way Americans ate. Archival film clips and photographs record the appearance of the first golden arches and other hamburger meccas. Drive-in hamburger stands, waitresses on roller skates, and kids in convertibles are all part of this hamburger hall of fame. Interviews with industry giants, such as McDonald's, give viewers an inside look at the world of the all-American hamburger. ~ Rose of Sharon Winter, All Movie Guide
