Directed by Barbara Politsch
The 28th Instance of June 1914, 10:50 a.m. is an award-winning and amusing profile of two eccentric gay artists, David McDermott and Peter McGough. Conceptual artists, they live without electricity or modern plumbing and surround themselves with clothing, furniture, and artifacts from the Victorian age. When the weekend comes, the lovers drive their 1914 Roadster to their farm in the Catskill Mountains to relax. Their work consists of paintings, films, and magazines, which offer a romanticized taste of the bygone era. The video presents an entertaining look into the strange lives of these two men. ~ Sally Barber, All Movie Guide
