Synopsis
This program takes the viewer on a tour of two of the most scenic and historic bodies of water in America. The Chesapeake Bay comes to shore at Baltimore and Annapolis. The historic harbors glisten against the skyline. Baltimore's revitalized wharf district bustles with activity. In Annapolis, old homes line the streets, and the Naval Academy lends it stately presence. To cruise the Potomac is to revisit America's past. On a river steeped in early American history, one can almost see the ghosts of General George Washington and his men. The monuments in the city that is his namesake evoke memories of the nation's rich heritage, while the boat glides along.
