This is the first part of the five-part series
A Question of Rights presented by Bullfrog Films. Used as the foundation and introduction to the series, this video attempts to create a picture of the state of woman's rights. Inspired by the United Nations Population Fund report released in 1997, this film attempts to prepare the viewer for the remaining parts of the series. By examining four women in their natural environments, it is hoped that the viewer will see that not all women are treated equally. With first-hand accounts of sexual abuse, lack of voice and countless other prohibitions on basic human rights, this film and series are valuable discussion tools. The point of these films is to bring up doubts and questions concerning our social policies and practices and how they truly affect people. ~ Ed Atkinson, All Movie Guide
