Returning from a briefing on security measures for a peace conference in the Paradas System, O'Brien finds that the crew of DS9 has apparently turned against him. Even his own wife and daughter seem to be part of this mysterious conspiracy. As the Paradan meeting draws near, O'Brien gets desperate for answers, but everyone else on the station seems intent on stopping him.
