I wanted to BE Elizabeth Perkins when I saw this movie, just so I could hang out with Tom Hanks and bounce on trampolines. The best times in relationships for me have been those times where you let it all go and act like kids together.

I am a Tim Burton fan. I have found that in this world either you are, or you are not... there's no inbetween. He doesn't always accomplish what he sets out to do in movies, but when he does it can be quite lovely.

Vincent Gallo wrote, directed, provided the score, AND performed well in this movie. He made me want to reach out and hug Billy Brown and make him feel loved. Too bad he hasn't done anything this good since.

Christy Brown was an amazing person, and Daniel Day-Lewis is an amazing actor. I fell in love with this movie at age 13, back then I remember thinking that I was seeing the best performance I had ever seen in a movie.

Sweet. At about age 11, I fell in love with Andrew McCarthy and I wrote him a fan letter. I got back a generic autographed photo/postcard. I kept it for a long time. LOL
