The All-American Girl (1972)

Synopsis
This genuinely erotic softcore comedy steams up the screen due to a sexy lead performance by beautiful Peggy Church (The Big Snatch) as 16-year-old Debbie Collins, who doesn't want to go all the way until marriage, but spends her summer coming of age in more ways than one. Despite the fact that the cast is obviously much older than the characters they're playing, the premise works thanks to director Mark Haggard's clever screenplay and erotic photography by Douglas H. Knapp. There are some cute moments which perfectly capture the awkward excitement of sexual awakening, and Church gives a winning and uninhibited performance. There is copious nudity, although most of the naughty activity takes place below camera range. The result is an entertaining romp which manages to be titillating without being crass.
