Surrender Dorothy (1998)

Synopsis
This Philadelphia-based black-and-white psychological drama was the Grand Prize winner at the 1998 Slamdance Film Festival. After heroin addict Lanh (director/scripter Kevin DiNovis) robs a dealer, he encounters restaurant worker Trevor (Peter Pryor) and takes him in. However, the angry Trevor lusts for power and control. He quickly manipulates his new roommate into a master-slave relationship, forcing Lanh to pose in drag as "Dorothy," a creation who becomes the focus of Trevor's sexual aberrations and physical abuse. ~ Bhob Stewart, All Movie Guide
