"SYNOPSIS: Alex Cross is a forensic psychologist, which means he pieces together crime scenes and talks to people on the edge of sanity. He is greeted with the news that his niece has been abducted from her school in North Carolina and heads to the south tofind her. What he finds is a boatload of missing females in both Carolina and California. "Even though this film came out in the wake of "Seven" (which it shares a lot of similarities with), this film has a flavor all it's own. Morgan Freeman is, of course, a joy to watch (as he is in nearly everything he's in) as Dr. Alex Cross and Ashley Judd is wonderful as Kate McTiernan. The supporting cast are equally as strong (with a notable performance by Carey Elwes) and the story is captivating enough to keep you watching and guessing until the end. I worthy film to add to my collection, and yours, too! "

"As taut as a good crime thriller should be, it pits the inimitable Morgan Freeman against the wiles of Cary Elwes, the classic good-vs.-evil. ;) Not related, but a shameless plug: http://www.bloodgutsandgore.co m. "
