Fire Woman is about a mutual and fatal attraction. Respected family man and songwriter Kim Don Shik takes in a country girl as a servant in his household. However, he soon finds that he cannot keep his eyes off the servant girl, and when his wife is away for a little while, he rapes the girl. His wife is tolerant, and the girl is kept on as a concubine. Then the girl, who knows few inner constraints, begins to order the household. Before long, the wife is using her meat grinder to cover up for a murder the servant has committed. Eventually, realizing that he has brought his family to ruin, the husband seeks drastic measures to remedy the situation and attempts to arrange things so that all is not lost for his wife and children. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide
