Wealthy and influential Rana Mahendra Pratap Garhwal would like his sister Madhu, to marry an equally rich and wealthy Abhishek, but Mala is in love with poor and unemployed Raja, and insists that she will only marry him. The Rana and his brother, Vishwa, are enraged, but give in to Madhu's wishes. They meet with Raja and ask him to make preparations for his forthcoming marriage with Madhu. Raja lives with his brother, Brijnath, who is also delighted to see his brother getting married with the love of his life. Raja goes out of town, and when he returns, Madhu tells him that Brijnath had attempted to rape her, but she managed to escape, inform the police, and has had Brijnath arrested and imprisoned, pending his trial. Raja does not believe what Madhu has told him, and so Madhu asks him to make a decision to not to have anything to do with his brother, or else she will not marry him. ~IMDB
