    Nacho Libre  (2006)

This movie is so complexly funny - one of those where you watch it with wrinkled brow and occasional guffaws. Then when you're alone and it's quiet, the film sneaks back into your brain so that you can mull it over. That's right, it's movie cud at its finest. If you watch it once, you must watch it at least a couple more times. Then the funny lines start taking over your brain. You find yourself repeating things with a fake hispanic accent like, "I'm not leesning to yu, yur crasey!" You even find yourself trying to scrunch up your face like Skeletor to say things like, "I hate orphans, I hate awl the orphans en the hole werrrrld!"

    Wild Hogs  (2007)

Thought it was great - not like most syndicated critics had portrayed it to be. Everyone in our group loved it. It was like a head-on collision between dry humor and slapstick. You have to have a sense of humor to appreciate this film. It seems like it might have been written for a younger cast; however the middle-aged guys brought a classy style to it. Everything the critics railed about, I found to be positives. The music was appropriate; the actors were supposed to be disconnected - duh, they were stressed out boomers; the bug splats and crow scene was a hoot; the gay gags were really f-u-n-n-y(sorry  heterophobics). The only boring part was the Del Fuegos who were supposed to be like Hell's Angels - they were just a little over-stereotyped.
