Well my #1 pick for the all-time worst movies has to be the 1995 box office bomb
Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain. The real secret of this movie was that it was terrible. At the time I was working as a movie projectionist and had the great/awful job of having to review every film that came in before it aired. During the early 90's I saw a lot of fantastic films, but this pre-teenage girl coming of age film was a little outside of my demographic. The movie tells the story of an alcoholic father and his daughter who is trying to escape from his self-abuse. It's hard to believe that Cristina Ricci could have done such a poor job of acting, but between the writing, the acting and the plotline that never seems to go anywhere make this my pick for the worst movie ever.
