i liked this movie (Hollywoodland). the flashbacks were very distracting and the story went in circles but there was plenty to look at and i thought the acting was really good (when did Diane Lane get old)? Ben Affleck is the perfect fit for the part, maybe because his career has been down the drain as well. the movie is just as much about Adrien Brody's character and for me that was a good thing. he's one of my favorite actors and i will watch him in about anything (although Love The Hard Way was a challenge)! i also appreciate that i didn't have to look at up-close gory crime scenes (i.e. Autofocus). i give it four out of five stars.
