Remember back when your neighbors were stocking up on bottled water, canned veggies, and spam because the world was going to shut down on January 1, 2000 due to massive computer failure? Yeah, me too. Well, just in case all that stuff went down, Prince held a concert and invited lots of great company to join him on stage.
You'd probably expect getting a concert full of standard meat and potatoes by looking at the DVD cover. After all, that's what appears to be be served up underneath those crazy blue plastic pants. All in all, it's good stuff. (Not the meat & taters). But just a warning - don't watch this for your favorite Prince standards. It's not for listeners of Top 40 radio looking for the album versions of "the hits". Prince is an amazing musician, but I'd say rent - don't buy - to my fellow Prince fans.
