After about 20 minutes, I realized that this was not going to be an ordinary romantic comedy. My expectations were realized by the end. This is a special, one from the heart, one of a kind piece that I liked a lot.

Confessions of a Shopaholic worked for me.

Based on the novel by Sophie Kinsella the story follows a young collage graduate working as a financial journalist in New York, who falls for a wealthy entrepreneur.

Isla Fisher and Krysten Ritter are adorable and, no matter what, very likeable.

P.J. Hogan directs with much enjoyment and mischief and it shows

Cool movie about a dude who would rather smoke grass then get a job. He witness a murder and then the murderer traces him.

Director David Gordon Green did a very fine job from the charming and fun screenplay Even Goldberg and Seth Rogen.

Seth Rogen, James Franco, Bill Hader, James Remar, Danny McBride and Gary Cole are all great in this movie.

When I heard about a singing nun who escapes a convent to look after orphaned children and helps them avoid capture by the Nazis, I thought it would be almost too sweet for my tastes.

But the movie was so well done that I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ernest Lehman wrote the darling script which was beautifully directed by Robert Wise, who caught the majestic Alpine countryside. Lost of great songs.
