I was truly amazed by Shia LaBeouf- he has developed into a truly phenomenal actor. The suspense driven film really does keep you on your toes, and constantly reminds you of previous themes in the film (which is wonderful because you never feel like you don’t understand, or like you’ve missed/forgotten information.) it keeps you guessing, but at the same time fulfills all of your expectations- I was thrilled.I would never have expected this from a post-Disney kid. (You know it’s a good movie- when you find yourself offering advice verbally to characters, it’s truly novel... my friends we in hysterics while I was entirely sympathetic to the fictional characters onscreen.)
