It didn’t really have the same feel of the previous movie.
Although the first movie wasn’t filmed as well, and most of the actors were much younger and naïve in the world of acting- The Chamber of Secrets lacked the excitement and the imagination that the first movie had grasped so incredibly well. It was kind of dry, didn’t really grip the attention of the viewer at all. The acting was good- although still juvenile. Basically, if it wasn’t based on an amazing children’s book- it wouldn’t have been nearly as entertaining... I almost feel the movie would have been better if they had taken the risk of making the movie longer by keeping the story true to the book itself.
