Isn’t one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, it was kind of needlessly drawn out. But what I loved about this movie the most was how each scene’s background music fits the scene or the scenario. It’s a really powerful movie about the youth for its time. Great sound, great acting, great picture.

I hated this movie. This is probably because I hate western films- and this movie is the pinnacle of all westerns. I was in misery till the very final word.

Ooooohh- I love this movie SO much! The storyline, the artistry! I loved it from the moment it began till the last of the ending credits! The main character is so driven by purpose. everything he says and does seems like he means it whole heartedly. Wow! This is a great movie.

    Metropolis  (1927)

This is a truly awe-inspiring film. While my film class remained unimpressed, I was intrigued and rented the movie later on to view the remainder of the film. Although it is a silent film, you shouldn’t let that hold you back from appreciating the true meaning that the actors are so ardently trying to display on the screen. This movie holds a strong point against dictatorship and inequality. The entire point is to promote that all men are created equal. People shouldn’t be placed above others to do far less to receive far more.

    My Blue Heaven  (1990)

Although I’m not entirely sure what the title had to do with the movie, I loved this comedy/romance film. It was creative and hysterically funny. I especially loved Steve Martin’s performance as the Gangster (Vinnie) who just happened to be a complete pathological liar- everything he did ended up working out in a hilarious array of events. Rick Moranis  (Barney) is an FBI agent, who is assigned to keep watch over Vinnie who is in the witness protection program under the alias of Todd. The movie turns out to be another charming romantic comedy, and a great way to spend an evening at home.

    Akira  (1989)

not exactly the best movie in the world. although its definately an older anime film, I still couldn't exactly pin-point the plot of the movie.  It was a very well executed animation, although the idea wasn't perfectly clear, it was still a somewhat entertaining movie. I enjoyed it for the most part.
