Probably THE most disturbing childrens film ever.
did anyone else watch this film as a child? Well I did and it was horrific. The story is of a boy who goes bald, and puts on a peanut butter solution to make his hair grow back. Oh yeah, and his best friend puts it onto his pubes. Then he is kidnapped to make paintbrushes out of his hair. And there is a magic painting involved. And it's a kids film. Did anybody else watch this? What was my mom thinking when she rented it for me?

Wasn't there a book of this too? It's sounds terribly familiar to me... I didn't know there was a movie though.
On a related note... Does anyone know of a movie where a group of kids try to cure their friend by making "medicine" out of plants they found in woods? Last night I was doing the dishes and I remembered a scene where the boy took their medicine and ended up in the hospital... They "medicine" they made and gave him, made him sick.
What was that movie? Did I dream it?
