Horton Hears a Who is a children’s movie and is probable enjoyable for children; however for adults the movie is not that enjoyable. Some movies such as Shreck or Toy Story are enjoyable for people of all ages, and are great movies. Horton Hears a Who on the other hand is not a bad movie but it just lost my interest.
The movie is about an Elephant named Horton who thought he heard something on a little speck on top of a flower, when he told this to the Kangaroo she thought it was ridiculous and wanted to destroy the flower and the spec. On the speck is a whole world of Whos living in Whoville. So the mayor of Whoville works with Horton to get the spec in a safe place. The underlining message of this movie seemed to be not to dismiss others ideas because they differ from your own. So if you kid wants to see this movie then I would say that he or she might enjoy it, but if you are interested in an animated movie that can be enjoyed by adults and children I would wait until
Wall-E comes out or rent
Ratatouille.
