The Fifth Element

The Fifth Element  (1997)
The Fifth Element is about this big fire ball thing that is going to destroy the world if these stone things are not placed around this room in Egypt, and this perfect being is in the middle. The movie had that hilarious retro 80's style future similar to that of Blade Runner only a little less dark. Over all I thought this was a great Science Fiction/Action movie. It had some funny parts, some ridiculous parts, lots of cheesy parts, and a few good action scenes. Some things that were hilarious about this film was seeing Chris Tucker who I have only seen in Rush Hour in another movie. He was basically the same as in Rush Hour which was even more funny. Another thing I found hilarious about this movie was the huge plug for McDonalds, it was so obvious you just have to laugh at the big media conglomerates shameless plug. So in the end I think this is one of thoughts fun cheesy action movies that is worth renting.
