I watched this movie in one of my Russian language classes a few months ago. It's definitely a drama with love, envy, regret, and honor all playing key roles in it. It's so amazing how Kotov has a positive outlook on life the whole way through, considering his situation. And the ending is one I'll never forget. If you're a fan of foreign films, this isn't one to miss.
