Epic Western
Mark Deming's review sums up this movie very well except that it was a two fingered white man who led a group of indians that killed David Brandon and later became the richest land owner in Cheyenne country. Peter Jesson did try to kill Davy while they were exploring for a short cut through the mountains that Davy's father had shown him early in the movie. Of course Petter Jesson was hired by the two fingered white land owner to prevent finding a short cut around land that He owned.
