correction..."Edge of Darkness" ..not "Heart" Check it out ..Bob Peck,Joe Don Baker...

The thing is,i dont find this suprising,as, "Children of Men" (the movie) reminded me so much of an amalgum of late seventies,through to early eighties T.V series (i'm talking U.K.)Dystopian near Future stuff,(shadow of the Cold War,and all that) I'm thinking specifically of "the Survivors"..where rabies is wiping out the population..and before that "Doomwatch" ,where disasters were averted by a Government agency. aso factor in "Heart of Darkness" which was about covering up after a Nuclear fallout accident... Elements of "Children,..." seemed straight out of these things,especially the Michael Caine character,the Hippie,left behind,living in the woods. It might also be the SAME woods (to get all locationwise on you)..that is "Bourne Wood" in Surrey..also where Russel Crowe had his big dust-up with the arrows in "Gladiator" ..and where Coldplay Chris crashed off the road backwards in an old BeeEmm. As for all that "seventh day adventist Creationist bullshit...dont get me started...
