The Guns of Navarone
I saw this film for the first time in about 1970 when I was in fifth grade and my friend and I went to see it at our Junior High auditorium. It was being shown as part of a fund raiser. I was completely taken by the film and felt like I was right there with the team sent to take out the guns in the cliffs of Navarone. Great acting, great storyline, great directing...all the ingredients for a fantastic movie. Needless to say, it is one of my all-time favorites and one which I own. I am also proud to say my son loves it too!
